Back in 2015, when I was about to release my very first book, Earth - Last Sanctuary. I needed to build a site and a platform to showcase my book(s). The first iteration of the site didn't have video backgrounds, but I update the site at the end of 2017 and got amazing returns from both readers and other auhtors as to the look of my creation.
I've build the website with visual richness. And I think it's the sort of site that makes an impact from the visitor first visit. The site begs to be seen, with animation, videos, interactive elements, inviting the visitor to discover every single page to see what else the website has to offer.
A SITE THAT CONTAINS EXTRA CONTENT THAT CAN'T BE ADDED TO EBOOKS
When I created universeinflames.com, the idea was to have a platform for all readers of the series to get more informations, more visuals about the universe I have created. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time yet to create as exhaustive a site than I wanted to when I started. It's still on my to-do list, and I hope I can soon return to the project and provide more illustrations and information that can visually enrich my universe.
SEVEN AUTHORS THAT WRITE SCIENCE FICTION & A WEBSITE THAT PROVIDES EXCLUSIVE CONTENT TO READERS
In November 2017, I travelled to Las Vegas for the first 20BooksTo50K Indie Author convention. Today it's the biggest convention for indie authors worldwide. When I was there, I met in person, for the first time, other authors with whom I've made cross marketing to promote each other works. And it gave me an idea.
SciFiReads is the result of this idea. To create an alliance of like-minded authors to collaborate together and provide our superfans with exclusive content, and inform them of our special deals and sales.
It's again a good example of how media-rich a website can get. It took a long time to design this website, to great feedback and amazement from its visitors.
